In the TT when he is talking to Legolas, Gimli and Aragorn, telling them what happened. First the Balrog and Gandalf fell into the water and the Balrog turned to a slimey thing. They fought and the Balrog fled from Gandalf and Gandalf followed him out When they got out, the Balrog burst into new flame and they fought some more. Gandalf threw him off the mountain and then darkness took him and he wandered far on roads he didn't want to talk about. Then, he was "sent back" (I assume by the Valar? JenB?) and found himself lying naked on the mountain-top. Then Gwaihir came and got him, per Galadriel's request.

Oh, don't mention it! You don't have to twist my arm to talk about my favorite book!

Well alright, but no Liza Minelli!!! Well okay, but I did see Lorna Luft on stage in Guys and Dolls...

You are not going to believe what happened last night after the chat!! You know 2JM, stories like this, the "detective" parked in your yard and your "parent-of-the-year" neighbor kinda make us wonder....just exactly what kind of neighborhood do you live in?????

How about Elijah Wood in the Tower at Cirith Ungel after he is captured? - Is he gonna be naked too at least? You just want to know if those rumors about hobbits and big feet are true...

LOL! I know! It's not the best, but not the worst either. It's affordable. Most the nieghbors are just uneducated. But we have a pharmacist that lives on the opposite corner from us.
But this guy that was on the motorcycle is a well-known person in the community. Very fancy motorcycle. Custom paint and all. He owns a local restaurant that has many chains here in Tulsa.
Just happened to happen right in front of our house!

But this guy that was on the motorcycle is a well-known person in the community Is he known for anything other than his restaurants?

...and it was a looong time ago... Suuuuurre it was...

It's not the best, but not the worst either. It's affordable. I understand. When I worked in DC, we lived in a very affordable, very convenient, but very small apartment in Arlington. My mom was always concerned about the safety of the area. It was actually pretty good for urban living.
But we didn't tell her about the drive by shooting two blocks over or about the dragnet that ended with 17 police cruisers in our front yard (and the suspect in question in our basement storage area).

Is he known for anything other than his restaurants? He is now.
