We still haven't collected enough to buy LCS a freezer to stand in... Then Jen's education is next, but we can put your request on the list!
To: HairOfTheDog
That's ok, our current lease doesn't expire until next May, so we have plenty of time!

Here is a sweet story for you gardeners!
From the British RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park

The Countryside Properties Hobbit Garden
Designer: David Fountain, assisted by Kim Wilde
Tel: (01277) 260000This garden has been designed to represent the small front garden of Bilbo Baggins, one of the main characters in JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. Bilbo's house is set in the side of a grassy hill and has been built with the book's illustrations in mind. His house includes a round door, small leaded windows and large timber beams and supports set into a wildflower grass hill. The planting has a cottage garden theme and includes geraniums, salvias, foxgloves, verbascum and dianthus mixed with a variety of shrubs. The garden also includes many wild flowers, such as ox-eye daisies, lesser knotweed, meadow foxtail, crested dogstail and small Timothy, names that could easily have come from Tolkien's tales. The garden can be enjoyed by people of all ages, particularly children.
