Warning, be very, very cautious about feeding the corn to your horses!!
To: Inge_CAV
Corn on the cob? - OK - I won't.... but why?
To: HairOfTheDog
Green corn may give them a severe case of colic. A small amount may be ok but do not overdo it.
To: Inge_CAV
Oh - you are talking giving them all the stalks... Yes I could see that they could easily overdo.
I am not growing any crops here at all this year anyway. If I did, I would probably start complaining about the wildlife along with Overtaxed. I like my deer and bunnies (and crows) too much to plant attractive nuisances that would make me run them off.
To: HairOfTheDog
Blankety blank crows pulled up my corn and peanut seedlings last year.
To: HairOfTheDog
Not really sure if the stalk or the ear is the worst, just be carefull if you do feed it to them.

Don't date anyone that doesn't cry at the end of Old Yeller. Gosh, even Francis the Psycho in Stripes cried at the end of Old Yeller.
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
I swear I dated a guy that didn't cry... He looked at me like "It's just a dang dog!"
[sigh] so many mistakes, so little time.

Scorpion King is entertaining, predictable plot... I thought it was OK...course, I didn't pay to see it...They had a free pre-release screening on base here...If you liked Conan, you'll enjoy SK...I don't recommend it for kids under 13...

I like my deer and bunnies (and crows) too much to plant attractive nuisances I like deer and bunnies too...roasted, grilled, fried stewed...I say, let 'em come...

I am not against hunting (though that is not making me hungry)... But the critters that find their way here have safe harbor. Even the pheasant, and I have been a bird hunter!
To: g'nad
That looks like a dog on the barbie.......
Thanks, but I am not hungry. : )
To: g'nad; HairOfTheDog
Wonder when Hair's bunnies will reach eating size? You'll need gloves to skin them too!
To: Inge_CAV
I does look like a dog doesn't it.
I haven't even been able to eat pheasant since I got this one... It gave me nightmares.

Logan, my FRetriever!
To: HairOfTheDog
Handsome dog... I don't care for what he's carrying, though. I can understand the nightmares.
To: ksen
Ok, I'm thinking of renting The Scorpion King. Should I bother? My wife thinks The Rock is sexy, but we didn't see the movie, so can't give you a recommendation on that one, sorry!
To: HairOfTheDog
I want a puppy from that dog, I want the whole litter. That dog is priceless........ : )
To: HairOfTheDog
But the critters that find their way here have safe harbor Oh, yeah...I get it...good idea! Lull them into a false sense of security, till I get there...Thanks Hair!
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
He was/is a handsome dog... very pretty when he was young and that pic was taken. He will be 16 this year, if he hangs on till October! Doing pretty well all in all.
To: Inge_CAV
If you wanted a puppy, you would have had to talk to me 8 years ago, when he was able.
