Good morning Overtaxed, JenB
Do you or anyone else know where to get anything that prevents pop ups? I think I saw a thread somewhere that discussed some shareware or something that could fight them.
I don't necessarily think (though (I'm not a mechanic) that the engine will fall out so much as the attachments will start to let go. Like the water pump, transmission, etc. But at 100,000 miles, some of that stuff may have already been replaced.

Good Morning!
I use Pop Up Stopper but perhaps the other hobbits have recommendations.
I've had my car for the whole 155,000+ miles...I think I'm due for a new grocery-getter!

Good morning Hobbits and assorted others... looks like another slow day in the Hole. Has anyone made breakfast yet?
To: Bear_in_RoseBear

Something different!

I've had my car for the whole 155,000+ miles...Sounds like a short range car...if you decide to replace it, what do you think you'll look for?
To: Sam Cree
Dunno...I'm taking suggestions. Thinking about a Saturn L300, Taurus, Regal (if I can get a good price.)
To: Overtaxed
I like pickup trucks, but maybe that's not such a good choice for a lady.
To: Overtaxed
Definitely different, but it looks goooooood.
To: Sam Cree
hehe, here in Texas, there are plenty of ladies who love their pickup trucks!
To: Sam Cree
Thought about a truck but I don't know what I'd do with all that bed most of the time and it seems to me it would be hard to get groceries in and out of that compartment behind the seat.
I want 6 cylinders, 4 doors, trunk space with fold-down back seats and a cup holder. :) I don't like the way compacts ride or blow all over the highway when a semi passes.

"here in Texas, there are plenty of ladies who love their pickup trucks!Don't see that too much here. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if Hair, as a horselady, has one.
Not too sure about pasta for breakfast...

Come to think of it, the Gondorians probably would drive lincolns or Mercedes, the "horseboys" of Rohan, pickup trucks.
Overtaxed, do you think the Elves would drive Volvos?
To: Sam Cree
Probably....they'd drive a snooty car. :)
What's a good sensible hobbit car? (that comes with 0% interest for up to 60 months?)
To: Overtaxed
Precious is waiting.
To: Overtaxed
sneak
To: Overtaxed
It's no fun sneaking solo.
To: Sam Cree; Overtaxed
Ha! Orcs would drive that nasty little East German car, from before the fall of communism... what was it called? Oh, yes,
the Trabant.
To: Overtaxed
But solo sneaks are more effective.
To: Overtaxed
I don't have to sneak, I still have the triple-naught Precious. :)
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Or a Yugo if you could find one that will run.
