OK! - Lets see who comes in available... I am flexible on time... Got some work to do now this morning, but I will be checking in and out.

Catnip tea helps....puts me to sleep without alcohol.

That'll make my cat a little loney. LOL I've never had Catnip tea. Never thought of Catnip in a tea. I hadn't thought of tea. I usually try to take a melatonin, but that doesn't always help right away. I do have some camamile(sp?) tea that is nice. I'll have to try some tonight.

It's funny. The first time I made catnip tea I used dried catnip. The cat ignored it completely. When I used fresh leaves I couldn't keep her out of the cup!

My cat doesn't like my homegrown stuff except when I'm making tea. It does attract neighbor cats. At "the homestead", my sister's cats love the homegrown along with every other cat in the neighborhood. I make sure to have at least one plant in the corn so the cat(s) will hang out there and keep the squirrels away.

I wonder if the hot water releases a scent your cat likes. Interesting. Is your cat an indoor cat or outdoor, or both?
To: htur_75
She's mostly an indoor cat but she goes out about an hour every day.
I'll have to do the catnip experiment again. I can't remember if the fresh leaves gave off a stronger smell than the dried. Guess I'll have to use just catnip too. Usually I blend catnip, lemon balm, and peppermint.

Chat? Sure! I'll be there with bells on! Uhm, if it's anytime after 8 pm Central, that is.

Oh... you scared all the crickets into being quiet...

Hello.
I have an indoor cat who escapes once in a while.
To: Rocko
I have one that constantly tries. Whenever my husband or I come through the door, he's there meowing his little head off. If you stand at the door talking to someone, or don't close the back door all the way, he'll try to sneak out. He's actually done that a couple of times and gotten as far as halfway down the steps off hte back porch before we noticed he wasn't in the house anymore. He's declawed (came that way to us) so we can't let him out at all. Poor kitty.
To: htur_75
My cat is front feet declawed, and there's too much traffic nearby for him to be an indoor/outdoor cat.

Meow!
When/if I ever get the funds I'm going to convert the deck into a screen porch with a pet door so Her Highness can take the evening air as she pleases. She gets a bit anxious if I go off (on short errands) and leave her outside.

Chirp chirp chirp chirp

My kitty likes to watch birds through the blinds. It helps make him feel like the hunter he can never truely be.

My cat watches birds, squirrels, and neighbor cats.

Is it 7:00 yet? I wanna go home.
