I have returned!! Got the internet hookup today.
Feels good to finally be freeping again - I was starting to go through withdrawals. The good news is that I am gainfully employed doing graphics and layout at the newspaper. I am enjoying it a lot, but do not get to do as much freeping as I could while doing tech support.
Anyway, thanks for all the prayers during the transition. Time to grab a pint, put the feet up, and try to catch up on what's been going on. There's no place like home.

Yeah... I spent some summers in Phoenix working for my grandpa. But I thought it was a dry heat? ;-)
I did a short term mission trip there (to work at an Indian school and on the reservation) just after college.
But the "best" time was when my wife and I were visiting a resort in Scottsdale in August. I was checking out a conference facility for a meeting I was planning. We spent an afternoon (or part of it) by the pool with the attendant coming by to spritz us down with her water bottle and then bring us frufru umbrella drinks...(needless to say, that was before kids...)

Have I missed this elsewhere? Glenn Beck just said that the 8-year-old in question in the Pledge case in CA is a practicing Christian who according to her mother was "not harmed" by the saying of the pledge, but that the father decided he was harmed...
