“Decision Desk calling it for Van Epps- what do you think?”
I think Epps voters got out and out voted the Karen and the Fraud.
You had me scared for awhile
Me too. :-)
But election day turnout made all the difference and offset the early Democrat vote.
For once, GOTV worked and people got off their asses.
The Rats will still think they have found the magic formula to win in 2026. They haven’t (but hopefully will be dumb enough to think they have), but if the GOP gets even MORE complacent because of this result they will live to regret it.
22% in 2020. 29% in 2024
Van Epps also had to beat all the $Millions poured in by domestic & overseas sources.
Plus beat the fraud in blue areas. But in spite of all that and the media on her side, Behn has lost the race. All election sites have called it for Van Epps. It may be just 4%, but we will take the win.
“It may be just 4%, but we will take the win.”
It’s just 4% right now, but Nashville has conceded and dumped almost everything it was holding. It will be more than 4% shortly.
2 things: 1. President Trump can still get out the vote like nobody’s busniess. 2. What plays in Blue States DOES NOT play in Ref and Purple ones.
gotcha, thx
A win is a win is a win.
If a little too close, will be a good cautionary result to point to to GOTV for Republicans in the mid-terms.
If Democrats really believe that the “Behn platform” will succeed in districts like this in 2026, then surely she will run again and be just as well-supported financially as she was in 2025.
Spoiler alert: They don’t believe it and she won’t run again (but I hope she does).
Still, for the next day or so the media will be gushing over how “well” she did and how Republicans are supposedly in grave danger for 2026. Which they are, if every GOP district swings 10 points to the left from where it was in 2024. If that’s all they’ve got, they are going to be a little disappointed. But maybe not quite as disappointed as we’d like; they don’t need 10 points in swing districts.
It’s a special Election.I’m telling you, Left wing DOES NOT play well in Purple and Red States. Look at Fetterman here in PA, he knows how middle down the line PA is.
I think that unless something serious is done about election fraud, we will lose seats in 2026.
The only reason Trump won last November was that we made it “too big to rig”. The Dems thought they had enough “cheat” built in with illegal votes to take at least 4 of the swing states. We need to get the illegal aliens off the voter rolls. They don’t have to cast a ballot themselves, someone will do it for them.
Mid-terms will not have the needed enthusiasm and too many conservatives sit at home during mid-terms.
Team Trump can't run on the idea of gigantic data centers and similar items to pull off 2026.
11 months until next Nov.
Economy will be cranking & anti-vote fraud measures are ongoing. Idk how effective they will be.
And I bet my azz Trump will be in full GOTV mode. I wish he’d begin holding rallies soon in the new year.
You’re right about the midterms, and it’s hardly just fraud that will hurt. The GOP needs to do something to appeal to voters, and it can’t just be “we’re not Democrats!”.
Behn lost today but came way closer than any Democrat has in years in TN-7.
Although WE know what a nutbucket she is, her ads were undoubtedly not all about “look how woke I am!” but instead were hammering on the economy and the cost of health care (really, health “insurance”).
That’s what Democrats are going to bank on in 2026, and if Trump and the GOP don’t take care of the meat-and-potatoes issues they — and the rest of the good people in this country — are going to be very unhappy in 11 months.
You definitely rate, by your views, as a glass-half-empty guy.
Take a breath.
The Has Bain lost Yugely.
Congrats Matt Van Epps
I’m sort of correcting myself. In 2024 TN-07 was won by the Republicans by 22% but the entire state went for Trump by 29%
I concur with your analysis
