For Republicans, this news suggests that there is yet another exhausting court battle ahead for the Trump administration.
Comey has pleaded “not guilty” to charges that he made a false statement to Congress and obstructed justice.
However, many now fear he has a chance of beating the case thanks to an activist judge who appears to have an anti-Trump bias.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a detailed rebuttal on Friday after the misleading video was deceitfully reposted and amplified by House Homeland Security Committee Democrats.
The video misrepresented an ICE enforcement operation in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
The committee’s official account on X accused DHS of dishonesty.
While sharing footage of the arrest, the account wrote:
“DHS will lie. They always do,”
The video, which circulated widely on social media, appeared to show a man having a medical seizure as ICE agents arrested his wife.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has just given a huge boost to California’s plan to continue building one of the most expansive digital verification regimes in the country.
The appeals court refused to rehear NetChoice v. Bonta, leaving in place a ruling that allows California to advance a system critics warn could become a statewide online digital ID requirement.
The court’s decision keeps intact most of Senate Bill 976, the Protecting Our Kids from Social Media Addiction Act.
The bill was signed by Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom in September 2024.
The law forces social media companies to implement “age assurance” systems to determine whether users are adults or minors.
However, the law means that all adults will be required to submit proof of age to access social media.
In practice, that means platforms may have to require digital ID checks for all users.
The new law will force millions of Californians to upload government documents, biometrics, or other personal data simply to view or share lawful speech online.

Yet not enough is known about what went on there for the state to take precautions against abuse in the future, she said.
“This commission will specifically seek the truth about what officials knew, how crimes were unreported or reported, and how the state can ensure that this essentially never happens again,” Romero told a panel of legislators on Thursday. “There’s no complete record of what occurred.”

Although a lower court attempted to shoot down the challenge, the appeals court ruled in a 10-7 decision that the school cannot “wield their authority to compel speech or demand silence from citizens who disagree with the regulators’ politically controversial preferred new form of grammar.”

“This proclamation ends a grave national injustice perpetrated upon the American people following the 2020 Presidential Election and continues the process of national reconciliation,” Trump wrote in pardons.

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D) has proposed election rules regarding voter roll maintenance that an election integrity activist warns will make fraud easier.

Benson, who is running for governor, proposed election rules that make cleaning voter rolls more difficult, warns Michigan Fair Elections Institute (MFEI) founder Patrice Johnson. She says the proposed rule change lengthens the number of years before an inactive registration can be considered for removal. The new rules come as the Justice Department is suing the state, along with five others, for its alleged poor voter roll maintenance.
Extending active voter registration to 20 years
One of the proposed rules that Benson sent to the state’s Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR) for review is extending the number of years to remove an inactive voter to 20. The rule states that “reliable information” that a voter has moved is when a voter has failed “to vote for 20 years or more, or for a timeframe as provided in the act.”
Johnson, founder of the Michigan Fair Elections Institute (MFEI) and Pure Integrity Michigan Elections (PIME), wrote in an Association of Mature American Citizens article on Friday that the new rule’s timeline is much longer than what federal law requires for a voter to be considered for removal, which is four years.
“Ripe for voter fraud” says activist
“With 28.2 million Americans moving annually, this means ballots could be mailed to addresses where voters haven’t lived in decades,” Johnson wrote. “According to the Michigan Fair Elections Institute (MFEI), Michigan already has more than 558,000 inactive registrations, and inactive registrations are ripe for voter fraud. Benson’s new rules threaten to make the problem exponentially worse.”
Another new rule requires anyone challenging the eligibility of a voter registration to “swear that they have personal knowledge that the challenged voter is ineligible and must specify the grounds for ineligibility.”

Davis had raised religious objections to issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples after the Obergefell ruling. David Ermold and David Moore were a couple to whom Davis refused to issue a marriage license, resulting in their lawsuit against her. She was found to have violated a judge’s order in another case, which required her to issue licenses.
The case resulted in Davis being jailed for five days, and the couple obtained their license. Then, Kentucky passed a law allowing clerks to keep their signatures off marriage certificates.

A Florida resident shot and killed a Turkish national on Thursday after deputies said they saw him reaching for a gun while they were serving him a warrant related to threats he had made against both a Tallahassee synagogue and public officials, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office said.
Ali Bayhan, 38, was suspected of making threats against multiple elected officials, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and of calling in a bomb threat to Temple Israel in Tallahassee, the office told local media station WCJB.
Tallahassee police officials told local media that the synagogue received the non-credible bomb threat on Wednesday via phone call, determined to have been made by Bayhan.
In a statement released following the threat, the synagogue said that it had called law enforcement after evacuating the building.

In more innocent times, teenagers became notorious at various times for swallowing goldfish, seeing how many people they could stuff into a phone booth (look it up, kids), and smoking lots of hash. Now, the latest teen craze has a decidedly more sinister edge: over the last few days, Muslims in their late teens and early twenties have been arrested in Michigan, New Jersey, and Washington state. All of them were at various stages of the planning of jihad mass murder plots.
The plots largely revolved around rich kids with plenty of time on their hands and a newfound, brightly burning hatred. Nineteen-year-old Milo Sedarat, according to a Thursday report in the New York Post, “bragged about being ‘the biggest antisemite in America’” and “ranted about how he wanted to murder his artist mom’s Jewish friends.” He also “menacingly posed for pictures in his $1.2 million family home with swords and knives,” while his father, a noted poet named Roger Sedarat, presumably went about his business nearby, oblivious to what his son was up to.
Another one of the teen jihad plotters is Tomas Kaan Jimenez-Guzel of Montclair, New Jersey. He is also 19 and, as the son of a UN diplomat, quite well off, and wanted to behead people for propaganda videos. The earnest young ideologue said that he wanted the group to “do something that’s going to leave a mark in history. Something that’s gonna make them create a documentary on you on Netflix. Something that’s gonna make you have a Wikipedia page.”
Meanwhile, NBC News reported that “Saed Ali Mirreh, 19, of Kent, Washington, was arrested Wednesday by the FBI. Officials say he was in communication with seven other alleged ISIS supporters who have been arrested in the case,” including Jimenez-Guzel. The two of them “were each charged with one count of conspiracy to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization — in this case ISIS — and one count of attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.”

The prosecutor said the 18-year-old, who was arrested in February, had been planning to blow himself up at the Stockholm Culture Festival which drew 2 million visitors over the span of five days in August.
Described as a “self-radicalized” young man who had pledged allegiance to Islamic State, he was charged with planning a terrorist crime and being a member of a terrorist organization. The man denies the charges and was not named by the prosecutor.
“There was a clear will to commit an attack, an attack with the intent to cause as much damage to human life as possible,” prosecutor Carl Mellberg told a news conference…

He became quite angry at this intolerable state of affairs, and took it out on Magda M., the woman who managed the store where he worked. He stabbed her 26 times. Detained local United Nations staff will face trial based on the suspicion that they are linked to an Israeli airstrike which killed top Houthi leaders in Yemen, the head of Yemen’s Houthis told Reuters on October 31.
Several leaders of Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi terrorists were killed in an Israeli strike on the capital Sanaa this past August.
Houthis are prosecuting the UN staff, but it is the Houthi terrorists themselves who have devastated Yemen throughout the past ten years.
The UN estimates that the war in Yemen, which began in 2015, had killed 377,000 people by the end of 2021. Over 150,000 of these deaths were the direct result of the armed conflict, while far more have died due to hunger and disease, as a result of the humanitarian crisis caused by the war.
According to a 2025 statement by the UN, close to 20 million people in Yemen depend on aid to survive. Nearly five million remain displaced, as violence or disaster have pushed them from one place to another.
Since March 2015, a civil war has ravaged Yemen. It pits the government, supported by a nine-country coalition that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) lead against the Houthi terrorist group in the north of the country.

Towards the end of October 2025, a Bangladeshi Hindu journalist, Trina Roy Choudhury, known for her investigative work on violence against minorities in Bangladesh, received a series of violent threats and attacks that reveal alarming risks for press freedom in Barishal, Bangladesh. Her husband, Promithias Chowdhury, was assaulted on October 29 at a local shop in Barisal that a man identified as Nazim Mulla owned, while Roy herself received explicit threats of sexual violence, including being told that a Muslim gang would “gang-rape” her in direct retaliation for her reporting.
It is worth noting that Mulla was Chowdhury’s friend. But during the attack, Mulla refused to recognize their friendship. Speaking to Indian outlet OpIndia, Roy recalled that when Promithias reminded them, “I am your friend,” the attackers replied, “You are a kafir Hindu, how can you be a friend? Bangladesh belongs to us; we are letting you stay here out of mercy. Get out of Bangladesh.”
Roy’s reporting, which preceded the threats, centered on attacks on Hindu communities, desecration of Hindu temples, forced conversions, and mob violence in across Bangladesh. Her work had appeared in the online portal The News, and had drawn the ire of local Muslims, who viewed the coverage as undermining their ideological narrative.

“I can’t wait for the day I get to execute like 10 yahood,” he said, using what investigators say is an Arabic term for Jewish people.
“Line up like 500 Jews and execute them in front of their wives and family. Then take all their wives [as] slaves. Imma have like 10 yahood slave girls inshallah,” he said, the last word the Arabic term for “God willing.”
A former Montclair High School football standout, Tomas Kaan Jimenez-Guzel, 19 — whose mother is a UN diplomat in charge of female entrepreneurship — was also arrested as part of the plot.
The feds also released pics of Jimenez-Guzel posing in front of an ISIS flag and wielding a knife.
He allegedly wanted to carry out a Boston bombing-style attack that would make him so famous, he’d have a Wikipedia page and a Netflix special, and admitted aspirations to be known as “one of the 100 most evil people in the world,” according to court docs.
He also happily volunteered to be in charge of beheadings if the group of alleged co-conspirators ever needed to make any propaganda videos, coldly saying, “I’ll do it, bro,” the complaint alleges.

FBI directors, like the attorney general, have been required in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks to use a government jet instead of commercial flights for security reasons. Flight logs show Patel has tried to economize on his usage which is similar to that of previous FBI Directors.
BI Director Kash Patel’s use of a government jet, required by federal policy, is largely in line with that of his two immediate predecessors, but he has taken steps to save taxpayers significant money by avoiding commercial airports and their expensive landing fees when possible, according to flight logs reviewed by Just the News.
Patel’s travel has been the subject of a whisper campaign in Washington circles echoed by legacy news sites since he took office in late February, but the flight logs show he actually has flown the FBI jet slightly less often than ex-Director James Comey and slightly more than his immediate predecessor Christopher Wray.
Overall, the logs show Comey was the most prodigious air traveler, averaging roughly 2.58 flights per week, compared to Patel at 2.48 weekly flights and Wray at 1.98 flights per week.

More evidence has emerged showing that — despite the claims of Democrats — illegal immigrants have benefited from millions of federal tax dollars. The government watchdog group Open the Books released a new analysis that found almost $197 million in federal healthcare-related grants have benefited illegal immigrants since fiscal year 2021.
According to the report, the grants include both direct services and academic research aimed at expanding access to healthcare for immigrant populations. Open the Books’ researchers said they searched federal databases for grant descriptions that explicitly mentioned terms such as “undocumented” or “unauthorized,” suggesting that the actual total amount of taxpayer funding could be higher.
“Health Equity” Initiatives
Approximately $18 million of the spending identified went to federally funded scientific and public health research. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) provided millions of dollars to universities including Stanford, UCLA, the University of Miami, and UC Irvine for projects studying healthcare access and behavioral outcomes among immigrant populations.
According to NIH, these projects were designed to advance “health equity” and address systemic barriers to care. Critics argue that they divert scarce resources away from U.S. citizens.

Across the English Channel, the word “woke” has entered the lexicon as a shorthand for a kind of elite detachment that is alienating working-class voters and sparking protests. Two years ago, “gender recognition” controversies in Scotland sparked a quick response from London blocking proposed reforms.
