Does Six Flags over GA still have the Scream Machine roller coaster?

I like the pauses at the top to give time to enjoy the scenery!

I believe 95 degrees. Captured car wheels, strong harnesses / seat retainers. Lots of roller coasters invert.

This ride sounds like a Vomit Comet.

Free buckets will be provided for all patrons!

You and me both, brother. After two cataract surgeries, I’m staying away from stuff like that.

Brains shrink - Old folks like us can do damage to our brains having them bounce around inside our skullz.

The only time we went to 6FOT was around 1967 or 1968, when the log plume and the sky lift were the most exciting rides. It was more “history lessons with a bit of entertainment” then. There was a stage show started about dusk. Is that still around?

We got the Viewmaster set of the place and my brother may still have them.

It was an interesting time-I had just got out of the USN, and my mother enlisted me to drive down to Virginia to pick up some custom drapes she contracted an old friend of hers to make. I made a road trip out of it, and took two of my friends...:)

We almost ended the trip in a very bad way-we left for the eight hour drive down at around 9 PM after working a whole day, and while one of my buddies drove, me and the other guy dozed, and we both woke up at the same time as the car hurtled towards a bridge abutment!

We both yelled out, and the driver, who had fallen asleep at the wheel, just missed it.

Whew!
