Out of morbid curiosity I listened to several of the tracks from Tay Tay’s new album. Listless, boring, musically uncreative stuff. Miss Swift is a celebrity entertainer peddling drivel to an obsessive cult. Granted my tastes tend more toward the classic rock and pop of the ‘60s to the ‘80s, but I can admit that there are young women of SWift’s vintage such as Lady Gaga and Regina Spektor who are able to knock out a catchy ditty or two. With Tay Tay, there’s no there there.
There are a few Swift tunes I think are worthwhile - some that never make it to radio that I think are worthwhile. but overall she doesn’t do it for me musically either…and this is coming from someone who used to Britney Spears, Christina, Madonna, even Faith Hill and Shania concerts 🫢
