At one time working-class Labour Brits were still fairly socially conservative.
He was popular among the hipster college crowd in the 80’s-’90s and his fans are aging out. I suspect ticket sales were bad and that is why he cancelled.
I read the article. I was positing that low ticket sales was an ulterior motive in canceling the shows. It’s happened before with other artists.
