Redford was a glam for the cam celeb with not too much in the way of performing talent. For example, his performance in The Sting was eclipsed by Paul Newman, Robert Shaw, Ray Walston and many featured actors.
That said, he was a success in his biz and enjoyed a long life, so good on him and RIP.

"He also starred in my favorite Twilight Zone episode. “Nothing in the Dark”"
I was reminded of that episode when I read he died in his sleep.

The resort is really nice. They shut down all the stores. Redford sold all of it a few years ago.

I wasn’t a fan of all of his movies but the three that are my favorites are The Natural, The Last Castle, and The Electric Horseman.

He was also in a couple of Alfred Hitchcock TV shows, and I think maybe a Perry Mason episode.

I never got into The Natural.
Seemed all over the place.

(Hmmm ... you can find a lot of references online and in print to Redford winning a college baseball scholarship. Was he lying about that?)
This is doubtful. I can’t see Colorado offer a baseball scholarship for someone who played tennis at an out of state high school. In those days, I doubt the school even had full baseball scholarships for anyone.

Maybe the relatives can replant the trees that were cut down to make the ski slope at Sundance.... to help make up all the jet travel around the world the “environmentalist” took.
