If they work with children, they need to be fired.
If they work in medicine, they need to be fired.
If they are responsible for the safety of other people, they need to be fired.
If they are in the military, they need to be discharged.
If they shovel horse manure, meh, I don’t care what they say. They’re still evil, though.
This is the bottom line. ANY company, public servant, etc, who has an employee who PUBLICALLY endorses assignation or murder is a danger to those they work with or around. YOU are responsible FOR terminating this persons employment and for the safety of those around them.
the First Amendment also includes the right of association - which necessarily includes the right to exclude others from your association....employers (not public employers of course) can exclude based on viewpoints. It’s a basic constitutional liberty.
All they have to do is first call her a Nazi and then watch the targeting begin.
Feeling happy over the death of someone like Charlie is disturbing, as it shows a lack of maturity and empathy.
Being compelled to share those feelings with society shows a lack of impulse control.
No empathy together with a lack of impulse control is not a good combination.
You are not exempt from the consequences of celebrating and encouraging the death of folks you disagree with. If you celebrate assassination, no matter who it is, no one wants to ride on a plane with a death cultist flying the plane. A death cultist teaching children. A death cultist Practicing medicine. Society has a responsibility when folks break a basic tenant of a civil society and encourage violence.
Who?
Who is Raquel DeBonehead and who cares what she thinks other than Daily Mail?
Speech is free
Consequences cost more.
Employers having employees that believe murder is ok because of opinions are just asking for violence within their workplace.
I’d love to see a cross section of these people against those that also have blue hair and nose rings.
“ Among the loudest critics is conservative commentator Raquel Debono,”
Female toxic empathy and toxic compassion is killing America. Kindness to them is to be offered indiscriminately. And it is highly abusive to the good people who must always absorb enemy blows, but are forbidden from responding.
She’s an idiot.
A southern man don't need her around, anyhow.
“”””Among the loudest critics is conservative commentator Raquel Debono,””””
Raquel might be a loud critic, but I have never heard of her before this DM news article.
Yes, we should be canceled while doing nothing in return. Let them win. wtf?
Nobody says that these fired leftist former employees do not have the right to say whatever they want to say, no matter how vile it may be.
Nobody should say that employers do not also have freedom of speech such that they can utter “You’re fired” whenever they wish.
In each of those cases, there is only one person responsible for the demise of the former employee. It is not “conservatives”. It is not employers, it is the former employee themselves who in the eyes of the employer make themselves more of a liability than an asset to a company, as such, they gotta go.
You can say whatever you want about Kirt (critisize his politics, his religion, his stand on certain issues...all fair game), but celebrating, glorifying, or showing happiness about about a man being murdered is a bridge too far for me. You get what you deserve in that case. There is simply no place for that in a sane society. If some ‘liberal power’ got offed, I would say the same thing. In a democracy we debate, discuss, exchange ideas, and then we vote. We never resort to violence as a way of resolving political differences.
Here here…
They started it:
“There’s a difference between free speech, and openly celebrating murder.”
I disagree. There is no difference here. The only difference is that the complaining leftist celebrating murder believes that nobody (under penalty of death) should be allowed to disagree with them or judge them harshly for the free speech that they choose.
Well said.
