turbo?
Nope. 5.0L V8. But I do have a number of T/C goodies that have been transplanted over the years. I bought it way back in 1992.
now i gotta go read about the ‘76 Cobra II....
Oh, and apparently now the ‘76 Mustang Stallion...
Disco Demolition Night 1979!
Who’s “Jimmie?”
Playing in the streets, culdesac, until the sun goes down and then some until mom yelled.
Sizzler Steakhouse.
I got it. I was just remarking to my wife the other day how you never see those tangles of cassette tape alongside the road now.
A 45 adaptor! Used to have a bunch of those so we could play 45s on the stereo changer.
From left to right: 1985, my 1987, 1980. Sometimes I miss dad’s old 1972 Torino, but not that much!
The plastic ones weren't too bad, but the metal ones are almost certain to damage the records by causing chipping around the center hole.
Now that some rare 45s are bringing hundreds or even thousands, those adapters are universally hated by record collectors.
One of my friend’s mom had one. They stuck a 302 in it and put some Trans-Am-ish graphics on the hood, along with front and rear spoilers.
I think it had a handling package too, but it was still a “GW” (Gutless Wonder).
Yes, we loved the emissions- strangled 70s.
Yea, I was there, but the 60's were far more interesting. I mean, being in the army and all. All I can remember of the 70's is working my butt off trying to keep me and my young family out of the poorhouse...
I wanted to be a politician when I got out of the Army. :o) I ended up staying in the Army because I realized serving my country was more important than being a pain in the ass money thief up in the District of Corruption.
I still have some in my nightstand drawer.
The music was phenomenal! I would sneak and watch SNL, Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Benny Hill. Good times.
