Rogan can do good in-depth interviews with news makers. He falls flat when he gives the loony fringe equal billing. I don't mind that he has these interviews but he never challenges them and seem to believe anything they say.

How is Rogan supposed to challenge them? For that matter, why would Rogan challenge them? The purpose of having someone on the show is to allow them to present their evidence for their theory. Rogan's not an archaeologist, nor has he, to my knowledge, ever studied the subject. On what basis, then, would he "challenge them"? And what would be the value of any interview where the host simply says "I don't believe you because it doesn't match the conventional narrative"?

And, for what it's worth, Rogan has had members of the archaeological community on his show with counter arguments to people like Hancock.

I will die long before our culture accepts the truth and, hopefully, before history repeats itself as what some will interpret as ‘divine intervention’.

"How is Rogan supposed to challenge them?"

Asking for evidence instead of accepting opinions would be a good start.

The standard response by archeologists is .. “it must be some sort of religious symbol”.

Fifty or sixty years ago readers digest did a story describing how todays archeologists would assess a modern bathroom, it was hilarious.

”Clare says he grew up playing with toy dinosaurs and always wanted to be an archaeologist. He never expected to end up the target of conspiracy theories.”

Man, is he going to be embarrassed when he learns he threw away his life. Paleontologists play with dinosaurs.

Asking for evidence instead of accepting opinions would be a good start.

The guests present their evidence regularly. That's the whole point of them being on the show. When Rogan gets some fellow comedian or other goof on, and they just talk about whatever, they don't bother with evidence of anything because it's just two guys BSing. But when someone like Norton is on, all he does is provide evidence. And, quite frankly, a lot of it is compelling.

Pretty sure it has been over fifty, but at my age it could be debatable I guess.
