Actually it is a downscale area, deteriorating further amidst declining population, which votes Democrat pretty much always. If it ever was "nice", that was a very long time ago.

Nice is relative, especially for Allegheny County. Corapolis is certainly better than McKeesport or Wilkinsburg a/k/a We’ll-Kill-Yinz-Burg. Certainly not as nice as Fox Chapel.
