This isn’t much of a story, but...

The story only verifies that Vance is a curious guy who wants the truth, like I do with millions of others in the world. The cover-up only continues to erode confidence in our government.

As to the continued cover-up, as Vance says, it’s only been six months.

Enrico Fermi was an Italian-born naturalized American. He was a physicist, renowned for being the creator of the world’s first artificial nuclear reactor, the Chicago Pile-1, and a member of the Manhattan Project. He has been called the “architect of the nuclear age” and the “architect of the atomic bomb”. Wikipedia Born: September 29, 1901, Rome, Italy.

In 1950, physicist Enrico Fermi posed the question, “Where is everybody?” during a lunchtime conversation about recent UFO sightings and the possibility of faster-than-light travel.

Fermi’s question, now known as the Fermi paradox, highlighted the seeming contradiction between the high probability of extraterrestrial civilizations existing in the universe and the absence of any evidence for their existence.

It’s not accurate to say Fermi “believed” in UFOs in the sense of accepting the validity of specific sightings. Rather, the context of the conversation about UFOs sparked his contemplation of the larger question about the lack of observed extraterrestrial civilizations, giving rise to the Fermi paradox.

This will resurface to haunt him in the future.
At that point, it may or may not matter, but the esoteric will need to be leavened with common sense remarks.
JD should do okay , not to let it define him.
Same as with his “Ladies with Cats” remarks. There’s more to him than smart Alec sound bites. Different than with other well known Republicans in his age group, such as Don Junior.

Cover-up of what? There aren’t any space aliens.

Obsession is never good. In Vances case it could lead to frightening visitations.

I ran across a Greek myth that said the world was governed by 70 sons of God, which tied in neatly with his exposition of Deut. 32:8, so I sent him an email, which he never replied to (he said he would on occasion). Never heard from him and wondered why. I found out later, his medical condition had started and I don’t think he was interested in such details.

“And Epstein hung himself from a 5” high bed frame.”

A stupid, inane reply and not relevant to this thread.

I have stopped following this topic for a few months—and apparently I have not missed a thing.

It seems like we are getting gaslit on multiple fronts—a whole lot of talk and no action.

The Ugaritic texts also refer to the number 70, in the context of the divine family or council of El, the high god of the Canaanite pantheon.

While the number is not emphasized repeatedly or elaborated in mythological detail, it does appear clearly and meaningfully, and it directly informs the biblical worldview reflected in Deuteronomy 32:8–9.

Also worth noting, the Ugaritic texts strongly support the interpretation of Genesis 6:1–4, where the “sons of God” (bene ha’elohim) are understood to be divine beings or angels, not human rulers or descendants of Seth.

Almost all of the “videos” I’ve seen on TV are NOT actual images of the sky. They are images of radar or sonar displays. The images seen on these screens do NOT portray what can be seen by the eyes, they are images generated by complex software routines. The actual data from a radar or sonar device are jumbled electronic garbage. They are turned into images on the screen by the software. The “tic-tac, airframe, pathway, etc. images are pseudo shapes generated for the display. It’s entirely possible that the actual reflection is not even a real object, rather, it might even be a software artifact. If it is a real object, the odds are that it has a totally different shape.

Or, one can just accept the wording as not needing intrepretation. The descendants of Seth concept is self-contradictory. According to Jude, there was some non-human sexual couplings going on in Sodom and Gomorrah.

I accept Gen 6 as it is, but many theologians don’t (for reasons that seem odd).

There aren’t any space aliens visiting us.

What evidence are you relying on to make that claim with certainty?
