Typical name calling. Tell us what was inaccurate in my statement.

This is an article quoting the RUSSIAN point of view. So why do you come along and curse at the poster as Ukrainian propaganda?

The Russian, isolationist side has never made a bit of sense.
Good at cursing and mocking though without substance.

What was inaccurate was “he doesn’t want this war”

If that were really, truly the case, why doesn’t he withdraw the UnitedStates from this war ???

I agree that Trump would REALLY like this war to go away, He could have made that happen Jan 22 by ending the US component of the U.K/US v Russia war.

Instead, he got seduced by the deepState/MIC/neocons, Lindsey, Bolton, Zeepers, et al., embedded in DC/here.

When you're a society of peasants, sanctions just don't have the economic impact.

President Trump is a Jacksonian. Neither a Neo- Con nor a Neo- Isloationist. So was Reagan.

Weak minded people think every time president Trump makes a decision they don’t agree with, he was “seduced” by some evil cabal.

It’s perfectly easy to see President Trump’s motives. He pressured Ukraine to cooperate, and he was welcoming to Russia. Ukraine came along and then Russia did not.

It’s only logical the president’s pressure campaign would shift to Russia.

Just wondering do you ever discuss anything rather than make insults?

I respect President Trump and his decision making. That’s a reasonable approach.

Unnecessary to address your deflection in this case.

Trump wants peace, he doesn’t want this war, however he also has shown a willingness to apply decisive military pressure.

Had Trump or anyone else applied decisive military pressure, Ukraine would be winning instead of losing. No action was taken which resulted in a final or conclusive victory of Ukraine.

The only way Russia can be keep its head above water is heavy subsidies from China. Russia is a demographic disaster only getting worse because of war. War does not advance long term growth because it eats away at assets such as prime manpower and creates perverse economic priorities that are devoted to weapons production. All the energy is behind military efforts and not technological innovation that contributes to economic prosperity.
Russia is well on its way to becoming a vassal state of China. It’s turned its back to the West and has put all their chips on the East. They’ve never done this in the past. They might get Ukraine, but it won’t be productive and assimilated as it was under the Czars and the communists.
Although Russia and China seem to be great allies, I doubt China will just sit and fund endless wars without being repaid. They always want to be repaid . They’re the biggest loan sharks in Africa. Russia’s population is smaller than Bangladesh but they are the geographically largest country in the world. Why shouldn’t China demand land and resources from Siberia as compensation?
