The Russia collusion hoax wasn’t just a political scandal. It was a masterclass in obedience psychology. Americans didn’t believe it because it made sense. They believed it because someone in authority told them to.

Fast forward to COVID. A doctor appeared on your television and told you to stay inside. Wear a mask. Take the jab. If you hesitated, you were selfish. A threat. An enemy of the people. The same experiment was being run again, but this time, at scale. And just like Milgram’s results, most people obeyed. Not because they understood the science. Not because they evaluated the risks. But because someone in authority said so.
It was a conspiracy against the constitutional order. Plain and simple. It’s a gross violation of their sworn oath. It’s what evil does.
I respectfully disagree. I agree with you in that there will be no perp walks among the upper brass. But Obama and co. will spend a large portion of their wealth fighting it in court, like Trump had to. The only difference being that Trump had to fight lies, while the Dims will have to legally fight truth.
And even when it does lead to perp walks of the lower tier Dims in the WH, it'll be like Rush said about Obama. Obama didn't have to give the orders because he appointed like-minded people under him who knew what treasonous things to do without being told by Obama.

Thoughtful US citizens were at the end of their rope, so far as “affinity” candidates for the office were being served up, with pre-designated winners and losers. Donald J. Trump was so far outside the mold that he had to be an improvement over anybody else in the running. Herself lost that election, fair and square, it was not “stolen” or “bought”.
The conspirators have believed, with some justification, that many Americans would find it difficult, even impossible, to grasp the magnitude of the conspiracy and the extent to which intelligence officials, government agents, news reporters, bureaucrats, politicians, and other peripheral co-conspirators would participate in the conspiracy.
This shield was shattered by the heroic puissance of Donald Trump.
Nothing will come of this since Trump has signaled that as long as we have a good economy nothing else matters. Trump wants us to always look to tomorrow and forget what happened yesterday, as though what happened yesterday will not be repeated tomorrow without the rule of law. He is scared to death to use law enforcement and prosecutions.

Some think his going soft on the Epstein situation is an effort to draw Democrats in to induce them to demand what he low key is already planning to do.
We’ll see if that’s true or not. But if you wait long enough, you’ll probably see that Trump eventually outsmarts everyone—Elephant Party members, or Donkey Party members, whoever.
This Russia Collusion story sticks around like a hangnail.
I have stopped expecting for it to be resolved in the courtroom. Presently, both parties use it to either threaten the other side with exposure, or throw the other party off message.
The conclusion will be worse.
My guess is that the plan also included prosecuting Trump and sending him to prison.

I agree that Trump won’t do anything about this. Hasn’t he already said that he could put Hillary in jail but hasn’t because she’s the wife of a former president?
Much of what Trump is accomplishing is the result of executive orders which can easily be reversed when the Demorats are in office again. He can’t even get his judicial nominees appointed. The Congress is dragging its feet and going on vacation. It’s a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing. Tulsi’s efforts will be wasted. Bondi is too chicken to act on any of it.
Republicans are gutless. They mostly sat back and let Trump be slandered, investigated, and threatened with lifetimes in prison over cooked up Democrap charges. They’re not backing Gabbard now, either. If something doesn’t change, our constitutional republic is going down the drain.
Holder went back to his law firm in the spring of 2015. Loretta Lynch was AG at the time. Good point about Jarrett, she has slithered under the radar in Russia hoax discussions. Although she wasn't Obama's COS, she was a top advisor. Denis McDonough was Obama's COS for Obama's 2nd term. His name is never mentioned either. They may not have been part of concocting the hoax, but it is hard to believe they wouldn't have known about it.
Ditto. I didn't watch a lot network news back then. However I did watch the local news in the morning on CBS. When they broke away to the national news segment, it was get Trump 24/7 for 4 years. It was the same with CBS radio. Rush was on the local CBS affiliate. He often spent many segments debunking the hoax. At the top and bottom of the hour, the national news was suggesting Trump is in big trouble now..
