War doesn’t care about nobility of cause, both sides think their cause is the noble one. The only way to beat Russia is to send about 200,000 troops and all their needed material. Trump isn’t going to do that and no one else can.

It is obvious that you have not studied much military history. Wars are not won only, or even primarily, on the battlefield. Ukraine has already halted Russia's attempt to conquer it. Now Russia is starting to run out of the resources to continue prosecuting this war. Ukraine need not drive the Russians out. All they have to do is wait until the Russians can no longer stay.

sounds like Putin is playing trumps belief in making deals. at some point Trump has to create a situation that pushes Putin’s buttons... This is a tough situation because unlike other world leaders Putin actually has no connections in his economy that Trump can push.
