The USA and Russia should be friends and strong allies now and ongoing. I am sad that they are temporarily not. We have so much more in common than differences.

We could have had Russia as an ally and friend rather than a adversary. Yet the policies of our government since the fall has been the exact opposite. Why because certain interests want Russia broken up and controlled by the west to seize the vast natural resources for their own purposes. Simple view.
I understand now.
