Liberty Bibberty.
The is an emu breeder farm about 3 miles from my house. We occasionally get emails to be on the look-out for runaway birds.
They all look alike, or emu-late someone else's emu at your own risk?
I hope this guy is emmune from criticism. His buddies could really get some mileage out of the emusement factor.
It must have been an emutional remunion.
.
Some health food stores sell it, so somebody must.
I was curious, I thought it might be yummy, so I tried it.
It’s not, in my opinion.
I laughed when I first saw the title of this one. :^)
Here's one where it's possible -- and perhaps it's even normal -- to accidentally round up the wrong emus on any given day.
They were miles from home, yet in same alternate emuniverse.
♫ I was born the runnin' kind
With leavin' always on my mind
Home was never home to me at any time
Every front door found me hopin'
I would find the back door open
There just had to be an exit
For the runnin' kind ♫
~ Merle Haggard, Poet of the Common Emu
Today I’ve been wandering around in the topic of the Milky Way.
Like that has anything to do with emus.
But then again, wouldn’t you know it —
“Emu in the Sky: The Gomeroi people between New South Wales and Queensland called the Milky Way Dhinawan, the giant Emu in the Sky that it stretches across the night sky.[56]”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milky_Way#Common_names
Not knowing if you knew already, I figured I’d leche know!
This does go a long way in explaining why they were on the run.
Isn’t that Wonderful? Now every time I see the Milky Way, I can close my eyes and think of Christmas.
Teacher says, ‘Every time a bell rings, an emu gets its wings.’
