There's risks with every medical procedure you may experience in your lifetime. I took my risk with the lenses and thank the Lord and the doctors for changing my life.
So what is your point?
The chance of dying in a car crash in the United States is estimated to be about 1 in 93, or 1.08%, over a lifetime. Maybe you should start walking instead of driving.......
I stayed the night in a hotel in Vancouver just in case. Opened the curtains the next morning and saw that I could read the side numbers on the seaplanes that were landing in Coal Harbor. Unbelievable. Snatched at the newspaper to see if I could read and it said, in large headlines "A-ROD JOINS THE YANKEES". Contemplated suicide but settled for a walk in Stanley Park.
I had lasik in 2007 as my eyesight was -6 in the left and -9 in the right eye. The doc was off a bit and I needed to wear 2 pair of glasses. 1 to see far and the other up close... I could see perfect with the glasses. Sharper then ever but...
About 3 months later it was redone and I could see 20/20. There were halos at first around street lights but it got better but still not enough to bother me. No pain and it is great waking up and seeing mostly sharp images all around. As I aged the right eye is getting blurrier. I think I will get lasik again for that or maybe and I do not know if possible, get the lens replaced even though I do not have cataracts. My dad and his brother both had cataract surgery and they could see great afterward.
18 years and no glasses for most of that time. I now need 1.5 reading glasses as I stare at the computer too much. I can drive without need of glasses.
In January of this year I got floaters in my left eye which were all over the place. Black specks and one bigger cobweb circle. I read that they either go away or you get use to them. I generally see specks now months later. Not really noticeable.
Do glasses correct your sister’s current problems? Just wondering.
You know, I don’t think so, but I’m not positive. I have never seen her wear glasses, however.
Thank you!
