I wasnt interested in that. She was a Saturday morning favorite. She was better than ISIS.
I wonder what she would say if a fat woman of color, was selected to have the lead role she was supposed to get in the next “Wonder Woman” movie.
Wonder Woman also came from a place where there were no men. Women ruled, therefore it was a paradise of perfection.
“DEI exists to help our institutions and media more accurately represent the true demographics of the United States,”
Sorry but 70% of the American population is not black women or some other non-white variation that TV and online ads constantly depict.
I wonder if Lynda would be extolling the virtues of DEI if she had been shoved out of the way in favor of a black person when she auditioned for the role of “Wonder Woman.”
She made a first fortune off of her pretty face and her hooters. She parleyed that into her second fortune when she married the crooked lawyer (I repeat myself).
Another shapely (in her day) but clueless airhead.
Diversity and inclusion are. But not equity. Equality is fundamentally American. Yeah, we’re for “reasonable accommodation,” but that’s not the same as equity.
I’ll give two examples (I’ve used these examples, off and on, in class):
(1) Jim Abbott. Had one arm. Pitched with his glove on his stump, and then transferred the glove in order to field his position. Jim Abbott had a life-time record of 87 wins and 108 loses in the major leagues. Nowhere near the Hall of Fame standard, but amazing considering his physical handicap. Plus, he threw a no-hitter. I asked my class if Jim Abbott should be in the hall of fame. The class didn’t think so; yet, they thought there should be some mention of his accomplishment. They were happy to find out that Jim Abbott’s no-hitter is mentioned in a static display at Cooperstown.
(2) Jason Sehorn. I believe he is still the last white regular starting cornerback in the NFL. I asked if he should be in the Hall of Fame. Nobody thought he should be in the Hall of Fame on account of his race. I then told the class that the coaches thought to shift him to safety before his first game; but, saw him playing some basketball, where he showed the toughness you need to play cornerback. Turns out, he grew up in a tough neighborhood. I said his toughness was sociology not physiology. I said don’t let assumptions stand in your way or in anybody else’s way. Give yourself and others a fair chance.
There are differences among us and - who knows - maybe those differences are sociological or maybe they’re physiological. Just treat everybody fairly. That’s the American way.
Lynda Carter needs one of those t-shirts that says I wish these were brains
we can;t think of anything LESS American than “DEI”
“pope down”? ROFLMAO!
All boobs, no brains.
This is the current initiative to replace our Republic with Cultural Marxism.
She just lost a lot of her Wonder.
People who make a living pretending to be someone else don’t have to be smart to get their jobs done . Although, surprisingly, Marilyn Monroe had a genius IQ.
what would Anita Bryant say?
Wonder Woman is the same age as Pocahontas.
