(Kosmos 482)
Are we certain that it won’t land 12 miles outside of Piedmont, Arizona?
The town doctor can open it up.
WHAT could possibly go wrong?

I think it was an F-4 Phantom II
that flew over the town but it’s
been awhile since I saw it.

The Soviet Venus mission(s) were major feats of engineering which have never really been surpassed in fifty years.

Can we buy Kosmos-482 insurance in case we get hit?
(Remember the Skylab insurace policies from way back when?)

1100 pounds at 150 mph doesn’t sound like much of a threat.

I have my fingers crossed for Martha’s Vineyard to be the crash site.

1100 pounds at 150 mph doesn’t sound like much of a threat. Your roof must be a lot more robust than mine.

Small target.

Where is the 6 Million Dollar Man. He took care of the Venus probe last time.
To: nickcarraway
Oh, NO! That danged Venus tank the Soviets built is coming back to earth! 😧
It was an episode of the $6 Million Dollar Man. Now it’s for reals! 😄

What is its power supply? Is it pu239? Is it SR90? Russians used sr90 in thermionic generators. Either one of these and it could be a pretty big problem.
