These are state judges and must be elected so they are accountable to the public. The problem is almost no one takes judge elections seriously. By the time you get to them, you just want to get out of the polling booth and back going about your business. The only people who take that part of the ballot seriously are ideologues both left & right. Unfortunately, the left does a much better job of getting their “true believers” in there and voting “correctly”. We must do the same! Same problem with local school boards! Yes, they’re nonpartisan (THAT’S A LAUGH!) and that’s why they’re done is some off-year way. That keeps the passion of partisan politics out (I crack myself up sometimes!). People worked so hard keep partisan politics out of the front door of education they didn’t notice it snuck in through the back door! (The state & localities allowed unionization! That’s how leftism snuck in!)

One of several reasons I've been saying around here for 20 some years. We should be impeaching (lifetime) judges with regularity. Conservatives, liberals, tweeners, it doesn't matter! Impeach them.
Read between the lines of Justice Roberts statement “For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision,”. In other words disagreement with any judicial decision is right about there with telling God Almighty where to put it.
Here is a guy who would probably wet himself and cry to sleep for two weeks if any judge ever got impeached.

Because they think they are standing up for a higher principle than just the silly laws they are sworn to uphold. Their fealty is to globalism, one-worldism, “citizens of the world”, imagine no more countries, especially the hopelessly racist USA, etc. These judges - and democrats generally - are not really Americans anymore, not in the sense we mean.

Get some of the new (Biden’s) 87,000 FBI agents out into the field and arrest ALL the sanctuary mayors and governors. Anything less is unacceptable.
Judges hate to find out that a citizen believes in jury nullification, but we now see that Judges are quite willing to nullify Federal Law on their own whims.
