I figured Stew Peters out real quick. He’s a deep state plant.
Re: 9 - agreed. During COVID, Peters was the cat’s meow for some. Doesn’t mean he didn’t make people think.
Now, he seems to be doing his show prep by reading posts
at Stormfront.
A few years ago, I met Peters and his family at the hotel pool, where a celebrity charity event was taking place. Peters, who had a substantial following on his conservative podcast, was a minor celebrity for that event.
He was interested in some stuff I was doing then and gave me his cell number so we could talk later. I don’t remember if we had any conversations after.
I followed him online and noticed that, at some point, he took a very dark turn. It is true that he WAS a big MAGA supporter, but NOW he is almost openly pro-NAZI.
Very disappointing.
Conservatives do not condone the behavior (or viewpoint) of NAZI sympathizers. We condemn this.
In contrast, Democrats are very comfortable supporting Socialists and Communists which represent ideologies that killed far more people than the NAZIs. And Democrats never condemn them.
“Nazi” is an abbreviation of the German word “Nationalsozialist” (National Socialist), which is the party’s formal name. The main reason NAZIs are called right-wing is because, even as Socialists, they were to the right of the Russian Lenininists and Bolsheviks. But really they were left of center. Probably FAR left.
Left-wing politics typically involve a concern for those in society whom its adherents perceive as disadvantaged relative to others as well as a belief that there are unjustified inequalities that need to be reduced or abolished, through radical means that change the nature of the society they are implemented in.
Tell me that is not the epitome of NAZI belief.
The only aspect of NAZI politics that might reasonably be called “rightwing” is traditionalism and anti-modernism. All of the other attributes amount to nothing more than slight distinctions from the left. The left has had plenty of racism, nationalism, and dictatorial authority. Opposition to the far left does not automatically make a group (in this case the NAZIs), far right.
He grows Stupeter with each passing day.
