It was in the Bay Area he learned to box professionally, and his hadiographers have cleaned up his early environment. There was no need to because he was a sterling example of overcoming a life that could have easily landed him in jail for a long stretch. Instead, he ended up likely the most beloved boxer in American history.

Just google George Foreman early life. Or Foreman bio. His Santa Rita Prison Camp period near Dublin California is covered up for the most part, as is most of his early training. I suppose it was because he idolized Sunny Liston.
