What country?!
I’m not sure if North Macedonia is a country at the moment or not. If so it’s not very big, I don’t think.
Source says “Notth Macedonia,” where ever that is.
Nightclub has the same name as the one where there was a mass shooting.
Probably just a coincidence....
Nightclubs seem to be death traps.
North Macedonia is between Serbia and Greece.
Ever heard of that former country named Yugoslavia?
North Macedonia used to be part of it along with Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia.

Thank you.
I believe that nothing good can emerge from “hip-hop”. QED.
I have ancestors from Bohemia and I was in Czechoslovakia when the war broke out in Yugoslavia. I tried to understand it all, but have never seen anything more complicated than the history of Eastern Europe. The Prussian wars, the Austro-Hungarian empire, all the Slavic tribes…I don’t know how they keep it all straight.
Duh! Never mind.
Macedonia. I was thinking it was a city .
***sigh***
Thanks.
Keep in mind that a similar event happened with the Station nightclub fire where the ‘80s pop rock band, Great White, was playing that night and 100 died with 230 injured in 2003.

Thanks.
Those obscure countries can sometimes be tough to figure out.
I’ll relay what a taxi driver told me when two of us engineers were at one of our manufacturing sites.
The guy had an accent and when we asked where he was from he said Kosovo. He fled because his village was completely destroyed.
He said people got along just fine until politicians started turning ethnic groups against each other.
Then once small groups of people started initiating violence the whole conflagration started.
