Yep, that’s my post all right — but where’s the response, kimosabe? LOL :-)
***Rocket artillery can’t mark targets, seems like a good idea for deep interdiction but not enough tubes left for fire support and marking for air assets. The current Commandant of the Corps should be replaced. You ride with the assets that got you there. Marine arty has always been responsive to the grunts. Many instances in MarCorps history where arty was if not the major factor, it allowed the grunts to do their job. Arty doesn’t care about weather, and it has no conscience.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of the issues with rocket artillery vs tube arty is sustained fire... granted, arty may have to displace often to avoid counter-battery fire, but having to stop and reload your rocket launcher while doing it just complicates matters. It’s far easier to have a truck with rounds following you around.
11th Marine Artillery Regiment fire mission 2003... I don’t know how many tubes they have in a Regimental Battery, but I think it’s a lot...
Each light is an 155 DPICM (Dual-Purpose Improved Conventional Munition) carrying 72 hand-grenade sized sub-munitions. Someone counted over 160 rounds being sent downrange in this video. If this was rocket arty, after the first salvo there would have to be a reload period.
Hmmmm... I just recalled that when I made the deposit change online, I missed the the deposit day by a day.
I would have had to wait until the next month for the deposit to the new account.
It would have been sent to a closed account.
I called SS and I don’t recall them asking me any security questions.
They assured me that when the deposit got sent back it would be resent to the correct account.
I just checked my online SS account and that’s what happened.
01/23/2024 Social Security (one time payment)
01/17/2024 Social Security (Retirement)
The key here is that I don’t recall them asking for any security stuff to identify it was me.
Though the change had already been made and I was just asking questions.
That FOX interview with DOGE was a doozy...a lot of edits...I would have liked to have seen the whole thing.
sorry...I should have done all this research first...
Most likely true. And Afghanistan too. (Our 2 longest wars explained.)
When Fentanyl undercut the price of Heroin, it was time to exit Afghanistan.
I don’t remember when SS said that applicants had to get their payments in the form of direct deposit.
I don’t know if recipients had to change over to direct deposit if they had already been getting paper checks.
In my case, I set up a MySSA account in October 2020 before I retired, then the next February I started getting the $ via direct deposit.
Slide (sort of). Have a question re the potential “DOGE Dividend” that’s being discussed everywhere. If my understanding of it per the USA Today article linked below is correct, it will be sent only to households thatpaid in more than they got back, and whose adjusted gross income is over $40,000.
Well, what about those of us who are by ourselves, self-employed as independent contractors, don’t make over $40,000, and never GET a tax refund? All I’ve done since 2007 is pay in, pay in, pay in. No refund of any kind. So am I just S.O.L., and “too bad, so sad”?
Re Vietnam argument:
That would be ineffably sad.
Keep our FRens and our nation
Therefore let everyone who is godly
pray to you while you may be found;
surely when the mighty waters rise,
they will not reach him.
You are my hiding place; you will protect
me from trouble and surround me with
songs of deliverance.
Excerpt:
” Now let me let you in on a little secret about this Elise Stefanik stuff, since it pertains to what everyone’s already heard too much about this week: Michael Waltz.
Again, like I said yesterday, I am not a “hater” of Mr. Waltz. But it appears he is struggling to keep a lot of friends in MAGA-world, firstly due to his neocon roots, secondly due to the Signal-gate error and subsequent lies, and now due to the fact that his old Congressional seat in Florida’s 6th district is now polling within the margin of error – EEK!
Which means House Republicans – who currently have a majority of just 5 seats with 4 seats vacant – desperately need to keep Rep. Stefanik in situ. Hence President Trump’s decision to rescind her United Nations nomination today.
It’s not all Waltz’s fault, I’m told by my sources. But he’s scarcely done the district any favors as its former representative this week, and he’s not exactly able to head down there to convince his former voters to back his endorsed candidate.
Which brings me onto the next problem: I’m told that Randy Fine himself isn’t doing very well with voters. The data backs that up. Amongst those who have already made up their minds or cast early ballots, Democrat Josh Weil leads.
Democrats smell blood in the water, with elections set to take place on Tuesday, April 1st in both Rep. Matt Gaetz’s old seat (FL-1) and Waltz’s (FL-6). The RNC is deploying its “big guns” in the form of former Trump campaign chief Chris LaCivita and his team, but frankly, that doesn’t give The National Pulse much hope. “
This story must have some legs, as we witnessed POTUS leap into an unanticipated high gear to keep Stefanik in the Senate.
X22 3.28.25: Dr. Simone Gold – The Medical Community Was In On It, Pandemic Was A Plandemic, Murder
👍
From the article:
“Do I need to contact Social Security to prove my identity to continue my monthly benefits?
No. You do not need to contact Social Security to continue your monthly benefits at your current bank. If you need to change your direct deposit information in the future, you can change that information online with a personal my Social Security account or automatic enrollment service through your bank.
“
Note this about if you need to change your direct deposit info in future:
“...you can change that information online with a personal my Social Security account or automatic enrollment service through your bank.”
Regarding “only citizens can vote”
Article says:
“...Some examples of acceptable proof of citizenship include a United States passport, a REAL ID that indicates citizenship, a military identification card, and a valid state or federal government-issued identification.”
How do they prevent noncitizens using the motor-voter “valid state or fedgov issued identification”?
Schoch is a geologist, not an archeologist, and his estimates of wear and tear on the Egypt stone works are right the money, and probly somewhat conservative.
Notably, but quite independently, others have drawn similar conclusions. Mt. Rushmore is built so that the faces will look right 10,000 years out, being 3 inches over size. Our nuke burial guys have calculated 10,000 years for a 1 inch thick stainless steel cover plate to last.
Schoch’s work is very credible. There’s some really old stuff out there and so far nobody is defeating anything Sitchens has suggested?
hHy am I not surprised...I remember from the covid days that the PCR “test” is not a test at all, especially the way “they” run it. The many who invented it said it they were doing it wrong.
Thank you for digging into this.
