Kudos to you. 👍 Were you the only one who refused that ridiculous request?
“I know someone who printed their own covid shot card on cardstock and successfully kept their job!”
Ah yes. “Someone I know” did that also. Exact replica, took a lot of time to perfect. Heh.
Reading the stories out of China. (Mostly HERE On FR)
Letting fear grow in me the first week as the disease spread in China and began to be reported elsewhere.
First reports of US infections - Trump trying to stop all flights from China and being called a racist for doing so.
After about the first week I was in a mental place where I just thought it was inevitable that 1/4 of all people on the planet would die. Dread overtook me. I think I literally talked myself into feeling “off.”
Sunday our neighbor invited us to go to the beach (private beach so NOT closed down). Beautiful sunny day. Bounced around in the water and sun and somehow that changed my whole perspective. I was no longer petrified to live, but decided the Lord would allow what he would allow and I was at peace with that.
That rascal told me he felt no obligation to be honest with a tyranny. Of course, I was shocked at his response and that it seemed like he enjoyed the challenge of perfecting it.
And of course, he was grateful for all the morons who were posting photos of their card on Twitter and FB, complete with dates and lot numbers!
I went into a Goodwill here in Wyoming, Laramie to be exact, and was shopping without a mask. Two older ladies with masks were yelling at me not to even come near them without a mask. I didn’t flinch, look at them or even acknowledge their presence.
They looked at each other and said, “Well, I guess maybe she’s deaf?” and then they left me alone. :)
My one lasting memory is my utter disgust at learning how many FREEPERS are Branch Covidians who were fully on board with totalitarian Nazi lockdowns and mandates.

The fear over covid and the amount of people on this forum that bought into the hysteria was disgusting. Also, some of the worst offenders of wanting to “shit on” our Constitutional Rights were career military types.
“Conservative My Ass.”
.
I had 2 people literally run from me on a walking path because I did not wear a mask. Go thrown out of 2 grocery stores and a library for not having a mask. I will not comply.

Watching America burning by BLM/Antifa as we are locked down.
Where’s my buddy impimp when you need him?
I loved his “it’s just the flu bro” threads.
His skin is thicker than a rhino.
Not guilty!
*** March marks the five-year anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic, a collective trauma that New Englanders faced together.***
So glad to hear that only New Englanders had to face the trauma from the pandemic.
I received a call while on vacation from a fully remote job asking my vaccination status. I was not vaccinated and had no intention of becoming vaccinated. I was asked if I understood the consequences. I did. I returned from vacation and was terminated the next day. I never set foot in the office from application to interview to work to termination but my not being vaccinated while never leaving my house for work was a deal braker and I was terminated.
BTW - I will never buy another item from Spencer’s or Spirit Halloween again.
I can think of so many, but here is one whacky one I remember. Auto dealers and repair shops offered to spray down the interior of your car for some serious bucks. I don’t remember the exact cost, but it was pushing ~$100 in many instances..
Choreographed dances performed by the “hero” nurses. Twas then that I realized that we were being lied to. And the fact that the common flu was eradicated.
Ever considered suing for wrongful termination?
A group of us in my county woke up from our slumber and suddenly found the time to see & research what our local government was doing to our neighbors.
Some went on to become J6ers. I helped organize 3 bus-loads of neighbors to go to DC, collected their photos, videos and stories; a couple of them admitted to me that they went inside the Capitol. Friendships were made, bonds were forged.
It was a good time to be & feel alive, like who we are mattered. Our actions paved the road to where we are now & we’re not finished yet, not by a long shot, but we’re a lot further than we were when we started.
