The first reports of 9/11 were ‘a small plane’ too. Wasn’t really until the live cams got on it a bit after first hit to go ‘nope, jumbo’.
Here’s another town: Paris, Texas.
‘Paris’ is very popular - there appear to be many cities/towns named after ‘Paris’ in the US:
Paris, Idaho
Paris, Texas
Paris, Arkansas
Paris, Missouri
Paris, Grant County, Wisconsin
Paris, Kenosha County, Wisconsin
Paris, Illinois
Paris, Tennessee
Paris, Kentucky
New Paris, Ohio
New Paris, Indiana
Paris, Michigan
Paris Township, Michigan
Paris, Ohio
Paris, Pennsylvania
New Paris, Pennsylvania
Paris, Virginia
Paris, New York
South Paris, Maine
Paris, Maine
West Paris, Maine
(It’s not named after Paris, but my birthplace, Washington DC, has often been compared to Paris...probably not a little due to the design of L’Enfant.)

“Philly mayor sounds like a moron.”
Watch this video of her after the Philadelphia Eagles won last week:

That was not a small plane. Explosion and carnage not looking like the result of a small plane. Looked like some type of missile to me.
It was a Learjet, full of jet fuel and probably oxygen for the patient.
It was a Learjet 55. There’s footage of fuselage debris on the ground showing it as a Medevac plane with the star-shaped medical logo that you see on ambulances.
Around 6900 lbs That’s what the guy said. Some replied that number had to be gallons. ( 23 years flying Lrjt. Including the 55)
Yes, I said about 1,100 GALLONS (approx. 7,000 pounds). The guy on TV said about 1,100 pounds.
Yep, obviously a Russian hyper-sonic missile.
SMH.
Ok. I see what the miscommunication is. I was replying to a poster that was replying to a post about the tv report. I thought he was replying to an earlier post where the fuel load was given,
Reporters always get the fact wrong in aviation articles
Maybe there was a stall, or maybe something caused the elevators to go hardover. Not sure what else it could be.
Since it was a Learjet crash, you would think they would look for only for a Learjet pilot for analysis. My wife and I were going back and forth between Fox and Newsmax, one of of them, I think Fox, was asking a flight attendant about the turn to a 290 heading after takeoff. The FA had to say, I’m not a pilot…lol
I was having fun. There's too many crazy posts going on in here. It makes me shm and then laugh at the lunacy.
Probably CHOP - Penn University Children Hospital - one of the best in the world.
Very sad...
I heard Fox said Shriners
Was it a hit?
At least four
