Know your state.... Moving within the state doesn’t change state laws. California is a shxthole run by azzholes so this should be no surprise.
Won’t work. California DOES INSPECT all produce and fruit and nuts and vegetables brought into the state at border stations. Now, they’ve added emissions and truck driver inspections on commercial vehicles.
One BIG reason for those stacked up container ships offshore a while BC (before Covid) was California’s restrictions on truck drivers, truck engines getting the offloaded containers out of the ports.
HAVE to find a route that DOES NOT HAVE INSPECTION STATIONS.

Sounds like you had quite a battle with bamboo. I have heard of it being quite persistent and hard to kill. Sort of like BlackBerry vines or Rhubarb.
