Article explaining red fire retardant
that happened here about 15 years ago
we had a huge forest fire and the air crew showed up for work around noon each day, missing the opportunities of calm mornings, and declared it too windy to fly/drop retardant
as I was cutting a fire break around my home, I was cussing the DEI forest service
there was another fire the same year in northern Arizona and when the locals realized the forest service were goofing around, the heavy equipment operators from the community got bulldozers and cut a huge fire break around the town...got reprimanded by the gubmint, but saved their homes
sometimes ptb doesn’t want to put the fire out
Not to worry, Biden/Harris promise “NO EXPENSE WILL BE SPARED”, “every resource will be available”. Sorry HELENE survivors, not for you, RETURN TO YOUR TENTS!
Anyone heard anything about Mount Wilson....?
Anyone heard anything about Mount Wilson....?

Latest shot a few mins ago had some white smoke on one side of the towers (white smoke = not Superbad)
Winds didn’t look super strong
In a way it’s good it’s burning brush away now rather than tonight when the wind picks up again
Not sure what structure was on fire earlier but it looked small
The pine mountain shot has a clear view of MT Wilson

Thanks!
Well, look who gets prompt assistance from FEMA...

Massive fire by victory trailhead in Woodland Hills, evacuating now
@LosAngeles_Scan
“controlled burns is my best idea”
The hills are steep and rain on burnt vegetation land can cause erosion and mudslides.
Well, Newscum is Nazi Pelosi’s nephew, after all
LOL. Where’d you hear that is the salary for the Fire Chief?
Fire is now at 50 acres. Heading to the north.
If you think that’s bad, you should see what the wench who let the hydrants run dry makes...
Over 700 grand/year.
Sweet, eh?
LA donated surplus equipment to Ukraine. How would the items donated to Ukrainians two years ago have helped fight these fires?
LA-area firefighters are having to divvy up the aircraft between the Palisades Fire and the new Kenneth fire north of it
“...surplus equipment, such as hoses, nozzles, turnouts, helmets, body armor and other personal protective gear...”
How do you think?
Not good
Exploding
Intense heat indication on infrared

@BillMelugin_
The new #KennethFire is already out of control and rapidly approaching homes. This is not looking good - at all.

Helos and fixed wing over the Kenneth fire.
Doing an awesome job.
