I fear that more fires will pop up - either from windblown embers or idiot arsonists.
They they say how the are "all working together" which scares me because it simply magnifies their incompetence.

I believe the winds are preventing it. 60 mph+ gusts = no flying of helicopters.
They were able to fly last night and slowed down the Sunset fire from reaching residential areas.
High winds - which can carry the embers up to 2 miles - are a killer.
the PP fire has “0% containment.”
Bureaucrats have a nasty habit of confusing activity with results.

As you may have seen on the news, the Eaton fire is approaching Mount Wilson. There are firefighters on the grounds but the power is out at the Observatory so communication is limited. We are monitoring the situation and will update here as we can. Thank you for your concern.
BREAKING: FAUX News reporting that the fire is now actively burning the Mt Wilson complex. Oops!
Wind anemometer readings are approaching 100 mph on top of some of the surrounding ridge lines.
Has there been any air attacks observed, on the fire at this location? Apparently not-

Not sure if the following complex is critical infrastructure, but I would imagine the investments run into the billions.
The Jet Propulsion Lab, is to the far northwest sector of the Eaton fire.

For airport preference, type in LAX and zoom in towards Pacific Palisades.
Lots of tankers and helicopters up and moving now.
Has anyone heard any speculation on the sources of these fires? We generally have some kind of lame excuse from the government by now.
