Indeed. Those filth attacked my Dad, and my mother-in-law, the last few years of their respective lives. Fortunately, both were surrounded by loving, and highly suspicious, family.

I did not answer your repeated emails about my over due taxes. Those emails appeared to be AI spam so I blocked and deleted them. If you would like to email me we would need to establish a three step process to confirm you are the actual IRS. I will get back to you when I have perfected this security procedure.

The scams are beyond obvious to anyone with half a brain. It’s amazing what people will fall for.

Watch out for the ones that claim they’re from the USPS (US Postal System) stating they have an “undeliverable” package and then ask for for personal information. They’re a complete scam.

I got that text yesterday. The country code was the Philippines. Some of the email addresses start off as the same as the name of a real entity, and if you don't view the whole thing you won't see the dot-something else following it.
