Honey, if it damaged your liver by 31, you were doing a whole lot more than some light social drinking.

The likelihood of damage varies from person to person.

When Sharia comes to Britain, it won’t be a problem anymore.

Tylenol (and many other medications) are toxic to the liver by themselves. Combine them with alcohol and you are much more likely to do fatal damage to your liver.

Consuming retinol supplements also makes it harder to process alcohol. Skim milk, orange juice (depends on the brand), and multivitamins have retinol supplements.

In Sweden, they discovered that people who consume more retinol have weaker bones. After that, they stopped adding it to milk.

I avoid Acetaminophen and NSAIDs. That is exactly what is damaging livers, when combined with major binge drinking.

I wonder if estrogen used for birth control also contributes.

Don’t drink liquor, only wine and beer. Liquor jacks up your tolerance. I don’t really miss it. Beer will be light beer maybe with something bolder added.

Was she doing her “social drinking” while she was pregnant? I’ve seen the irreparable damage it does to the fetus.

I actually read the article, which is out of character :) Light on details, if she was pounding 7 glasses of Whiskey at a time or nursing Michelob Ultra light, it would make a difference. No details.

It is not just Acetaminophen. It is the combination of it with the alcohol which is bad for your liver specifically.

Alcohol is also bad for you. Especially, in large quantities in a short period of time.

Refined SUGAR is bad for you. It is not bad if you eat an apple or an orange or most other fruits. Cane sugar is better than refined. Mexican Coke is better than the US coke with corn syrup.

Sugar substitutes are even worse for you. Corn Syrup, Aspertane and sucralose may even be worse than cane sugar.

HOWEVER, the very worst thing for your body is SMOKING. Smoking will give you cancer, heart disease, COPD and many other diseases. Smoking cigarettes, smoking pot, smoking cigars is all bad for you.

I am not lecturing. I have done all of the above in my 61 years. Including some not on this list that are illegal substances.

>Show me a drunk who has stopped eating and I can accurately predict when they will die. If your pet stops eating, many times it is liver failure.

Yeah, I translated a Japanese novel about alcoholism and it discusses these effects in detail. The protagonist is hospitalized from passing out after, you guessed it, not eating and consuming a bottle of whisky daily.

Yeah, I worked my way down to a one-a-night limit. I drink the hard seltzer as it’s probably the least damaging of the alcoholic drinks.

I think her definition of social drinking is different from most people’s. 😏

You’re not drinking alone if the dog’s with you.

I met a doc last summer who believed that any amount of the drinking of alcohol, was not a safe practice. Just his opinion.
