The people of Iran have the very government their parents and grand parents rioted for in 1978.
Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. And they got it good and hard!
Prayers for the young lady would be in order. Obviously the mullahs learned from the soviets. “You are mentally ill comrade, you must be institutionalized for the protection of society and yourself.”
They did not like her “hat.” That was all. Then they ripped her shirt off basically, so she took off the rest. She was not just stripping off, although I do not know if she intentionally provoked them with her head covering.
I just saw your comment, I had already posted the photo, she is a brave hero, nothing funny about this situation. I knew almost as soon as this occurred from someone on X from Iran with family there. I have been sick for her. She does need prayers.
The liberal women who screech about being oppressed, yada, yada, yada should have to go live there or Saudi or any of those countries.
My corrupt, depraved soul had to look. Not too shabby. Forgive me Lord. Strengthen me.
She didn’t care if the whole world looked.
“That was a very brave act given the Regime in Iran. It may very well be her last act given the Regime in Iran.”
Same for this woman: https://nypost.com/2024/11/03/us-news/nyc-voter-bags-perfect-response-to-biden-trashing-maga-backers-people-were-cheering/.
Although the regimes in Washington DC, Albany, and NYC will not kill her, they will probably make her life miserable with tax audits, environmental violations, immigration investigations, etc. Expect an early morning raid from five law enforcement agencies because she has an undocumented pet turtle.
She could have disappeared into a crowd and had a friend with a full burka waiting, put it on, and got away with it. Others would follow through. One’s life is not worth the cause.
