I have a few words for Pompeo and Haley, but “stalwart” doesn’t come to mind.

@realDonaldTrump
I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation. I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

OK I got it: How about we go with “super-saturated posteriors international border transiters?” Yeah, that should nail it down without hurting anyones sensitivetives?
You don’t have to run the exercises by the white coats. Just do it.
Ya. Personally, I would take a hard pass on Mr. Pompeo. I just feel there may be a more loyal, smart, young and honest person that can do anything he could do and be less sketchy about it. But I’ve never dealt with him personally and I’m not President, so I guess I am comfortable with President Trump’s, (oh how I love saying that AGAIN), insight and decision.
***What do you call illegal border jumpers?

Criminals.

Tanng soo it only applies to illegal aliens, sure an American would not appreciate being called a wetback.
I lived in Harlingen TX and know the Chicano culture very well. A Mexican American will use wetback when talking about an Illegal alien, they do not like them either. It describes them as sneaking in to the USA - and they should be shamed for breaking our law.
Why are you talking about controling free speech on this thread of all places??
Its used by many races in Texas as you said for aliens sneaking in.
And as a slur when it really does not apply to the person being called a wetback. I have never used the word outside of what it is truly meant to convey. Nothing wrong with that, an illegal border crosser deserves way worse than being called a wetback. sheesh...
I think we could probably find better words to describe Illegal aliens - I mean, the Haitians that were placed into Springfield, Ohio certainly didn’t swim there across the Rio Grande.
I usually call them Illegals - naturally, that ticks off the left but that is exactly what they are.
Meyer - the dry-back.
And speaking of Springfield, several years ago, Ohio Edison Company (part of First Energy Corp) had a contractor use explosives to take down the old stack from the decommissioned Mad River power plant in Springfield. It kind of fell the wrong way...

“Nonsense. It’s a racial slur that’s used for any hispanic regardless of how they arrived to the US.”
That’s a leftist lie.
Just like when they claim the OK hand sign is a white supremacist signal, and all the other lies they make up to control speech.
“Walk up to the next Hispanic you meet and refer to them as a wetback.”
And there’s the brainwashing showing.
Nobody is walking up to random hispanics and calling them wetbacks.
That WOULD be racist.
Wetbacks is used exclusively for referring to illegal invaders.
It seems to be you who has a problem distinguishing between hispanics in general and illegal wetbacks.
People were saying that for as long as I can remember, which only goes back to the early 1960s. I am sure it goes a lot farther back. It is harmless AFAIC we don’t need to hinder Free Speech. I mean if I was to just say the most awful things in public, then let society be my judge if they want to pretty soon nobody would want to be around me if I persisted in exericsing my rights.
The government needs to back off from controlling what words we can use and the in what context we use them.
I remember a time when people felt more free to say what they felt.
