Ain’t no big thang.
In Golf, it’s the “Ladies’ PGA.” in basketball it’s the “Women’s NBA.” Says a lot.
ESPN will probably spend a hour weeping over the lock-out and trying to spend 30 minutes telling a 3-minute story.
Of the twelve teams in the league...at least four are marginally surviving and those owners won’t agree to any upgrade on salary levels.
Once Clark got the Euro league contract, then left...any chances of improving the league left. My bet? WNBA shuts down and doesn’t open in the spring. All interest will focus on the European league. By the end of 2025...no one has interest in the WNBA any longer.

This just in: WNBA finally has a shot at breaking even next year! Don’t blow it. Lock the doors quick!
Guess what WNBA? You’re not profitable. Does the world owe you a living?
Given the opportunity, I hope I could fart around Liz Chaney, too.
But there team mates stepped up and punished the other team for roughing up their guy. CC’s team mates just watched her get repeated abused and did nothing. That’s why she’s leaving they/them to go to a place where they play basketball, not demand you change your pronoun and kiss their ass. How’s the shoe selling Aja Wilson. Nike and the WNBA, what a bunch of ultra maroons, as bugs bunny would say.
NOW we know why Caitlin Clark is playing golf.
butts in the seats=cash in the pocket.
if they didn’t make money this year then they may never make it.
I was wondering the same thing.
You mean there is a women’s national basketball league? Wow. Who knew.
WNBA is insufferable. Let them fold.
A lockout will surely improve the level of play.
Maybe they should pay people to watch the WNBA.
The WNBA is a hangout for mediocre players who don’t want a real job.
I think there was a funny skit on YouTube where a guy was offering everyone a choice between WNBA tickets and $1.
Everyone took the dollar.
