Arizona appears to be a "split ticket" state, like so many Republican controlled states.

With Lake, I don't think it's her because the same thing happened to Martha McSally and Blake Masters. I blame the influx of Californians into Arizona.

Montana is correcting the split ticket problem by ousting Tester. West Virginia is doing the same with Manchin leaving. We still have this problem in other states:

1. Kentucky is solid Republican but keeps voting Democrat for the governor.

2. Ohio is mostly solid Republican but keeps voting for Sherrod Brown for Senator.

3. Nebraska is starting to slip with the Omaha Congressional district turning blue (Offutt AFB).

I am an eternal optimist and am counting on an incredible wave that will usher in many of these senators due to the enthusiasm of R’s to get out there and correct this nightmare.

Hogan’s opponent also just got caught and admitted to being a tax cheat.

It’s a tough call. Hogan did nothing but kick conservatives in the teeth for 8 years. We’re gonna vote for that slob but not support him at all.

The polls always seem to "correct" in the last two weeks before the election.

I think we will begin to see movement to the right starting next week.

Then we will have to be on the lookout for the "October Surprises."

We already had the attack on the black GOP North Carolina Governor candidate Mark Robinson.

Then we found out that Angela Alsobrooks in the Maryland Senate race cheated on her property taxes for at least 15 years despite being the executive director of the county revenue authority for the county where she cheated. Because she's a Democrat, that one went nowhere.

So we do have to be prepared for what's to come.

I think the October surprise(s) will be on the dems. Some China info that’s really damning against Walz or some such thing. It’s more likely that damning information comes out against the damned. :)

Actually, I'm hoping that Vance brings up all the China trips during Tuesday's Vice Presidential Debate and and ask Walz why he kept buying Mao's Red Book to give as gifts after every trip.

Me too! I can’t wait for that debate. I think JD is very sharp on his feet, in spite of agenda driven moderators. He’ll out maneuver them I’m sure. He needs to corner Walz on his communist lifestyle
