Middle TN South of Nashville
HAHAHA! That was good, and that could end up being me!
I am curious as to which “modern conveniences” she doesn’t feel are available in TN, other than we don’t get same day caught fresh fish I will say the medical and dental services are better than I got in Orange County, more innovative than I expected.
If you are busy and don’t have time to respond I get it, but I am so curious.
Oh, add Coffee county and Blount county to your list.
Coffee county and Blount county, TN. Got it. Thanks.
“moving from TN because she misses more modern conveniences.”
That’s weird. We’re in TN and our toilet even flushes. What could she possibly be talking about? But if she’s a goofball, then she’s SHOULD leave.
I thought I sent a FReepmail to you. Did you get it?
I just sent a private mail, which I thought I had done earlier. Have spent most of the day sitting with my SIL while my brother was in surgery, so was a little discombobulated for a while there.
I got it, thank you! I appreciate your help. Who knows where I’ll end up but it’s nice to have kind folk like yourself offering advice. Again, thank you.
I think it was the internet. I seem to recall my ex-wife telling me she missed having fiber internet. Trust me, that would NOT be a deal breaker for me!
“I think it was the internet.”
Oh. Internet. We have kick-ass internet through Xfinity. And I believe that Starlink is available everywhere here in TN now (but am not positive). Many people we know who live rural areas have Starlink.
I got Xfinity now, though I’ve been wanting to try out Starlink if that’s the only option available to me wherever I relocate to.
Once you do find an area, talk to the local pastors—in person. They know everything that goes on in their town, better than any realtor. I suspect the information you need is not to be found online. Advertising a good thing attracts predators.
American conservative economies have gone underground. You want a wedding cake? Beg it off of your brother’s buddy’s sister’s electrician’s mother, who makes time in her schedule as a favor to said sister’s neighbor *if* someone can vouch that you are trustworthy and won’t drag her into court.
Who didn’t want to be that guy back then?
I would never ride my Hog through the surf, though. 😕
