I think that yesterday Alexander was making dark hints about the Ukies taking Russian civilian hostages.

so the argument is a military operation failed because Russia had to evacuate all its own citizens from its own territory?

I view Ukraine as a very corrupt place and has likely enriched the Biden’s.
Having said that , they were brutally attacked for no reason by a thuggish dictator.
We all know Russia technically has thrown off its Communist mantle , but it’s the same place in many ways .
Russia is no friend of the US.
I’m sure there many good people in Russia who aren’t in favor of the invasion or Putin.
The whole point of NATO and us being over there, is to not have to fight another World War.
Reagan understood that.
NATO does need to be reformed and the US shouldn’t pay an unfair share of the expense .
But bottom line we need some involvement in the world .
If we leave a void of power, IT WILL BE FILLED BY SOMEONE. Probably China or Russia .
Do we want to ask China or Russias permission to send a cargo of soybeans to South Korea?

When a zeeper is challenged and has no response:
A. They say, “Don’t ping me”.
B. They report you to the mods.
C. They call you goofy, meaningless names.
D. A combination of the above.

Challenged? lol. There’s no substance, just insults from that person for years.
You also don’t want your own territory invaded and your civilians turned into refugees.
These pretend arguments that an incursion into Russia is great for Russia, are just silly.
And I don’t predict the military outcome.
