I can see right now how this is going to go. There are those right now who would gladly declare the the Constitution (the law of the land) unconstitutional if it were made possible. Where do you suppose we would be as a country if that happened?

There would actually be no constitution.

It would be a 'living document', subject to change as needed and as wanted, and with the whim of those in power, and of those to come into power. A constitution changing as the need arises, and dependent on the mood of the country at the moment, but mostly dependent on the mood of those in power at the moment. There would be no supreme court, since they wouldn't know what to rule oo, and it they did rule one way or the other, they could be earily replace. The constitution would be mostly one of chaos, and the country could not count on any guidance that could stand up to any challenges. The U.S., in essence, would not exist at all, because, the constitution and our bill of rights is our guidance, and it that guidance didn't exist, there would be no country. We now have a constitution, but the first step towards not having a constitution, is to make the supreme coirt null-and-void. and there are many looking to make that happen.
