Mostly played at dawn, several times in a row after being up all night.
I saw him perform at a very small NCO club in Frankfort, Germany probably back around 1974. He put on quite a show, dressed in shorts.
Real nice guy, knew him for years. He used to live in Laurel canyon on Wonderview by the water tank, and it’s gotta be 20 years ago when he moved to Woodland Hills. He also had a giant harmonica hanging in the bar

Actually is better and kinda wild with two guitarists takes on Eric Clapton’s immortal lines. With John Mayall semi-directing from behind his piano, where he takes a short solo too. I also liked the fake ending then restart.
