Please show us where in the Constitution there is anything about individuals "voting for President"

I don't get the entirety of your argument, but, it is individuals who vote for president, even if they are accumulated towards groups known as electors. Without the citizen voters, there would not be electors appointed. Thus, it comes down to the lowest point where the individual citizen voters determine who will be elected. Why do you think polls represent a survey of what the voters are thinking? It's not polls about state 'electors' or state legislators.

And, btw, the constitution doesn't spell out exactly what is exactly meant 'individual voters' but, it's well understood what it meant. That's why we have supreme court justices to 'interpret' what is or was meant by what the constitution provided.

Kamala is an anchor baby. Neither of her parents were US citizens at the time of her birth. Just because Obama slipped through the crack does not mean Harris will.

Well, Biden just dropped out and endorsed Kamala so we will soon find out.

Yup, here’s your big chance.

You and the three other people who think this is a valid argument can start litigating tomorrow morning.

“ Without the citizen voters, there would not be electors appointed”

Of course there would be. That’s the whole point of the system described in the Constitution.

You're saying that electors don' represent the voters, or the will of the voters? Whey even have elections then?

See post #37 as it is probably closer to the truth than the 25th amendment argument everyone else is making. Calvin Coolidge (or any of them) could have asked and gotten congress to approve their choice. LBJ had the vacancy with nearly two more years in office when the 25th amendment was ratified and still chose not to fill it.

When Calvin Coolidge was sworn in by his father, a Notary Public, when word arrived that Harding had died, he was asked if that was legal. His sardonic reply was that there was nothing in the law to say it wasn't. Ever the man of propriety, Calvin was later sworn in by a supreme court justice in Washington when he arrived just to be sure.

My bad. Pls ignore my post #67 since HHH was elected in 1964 on the same ticket as LBJ.
