ftr 6PM to midnight is generally considered the most dangerous time on the roads.
In that case, alcohol was the issue. The young man crashed into a gas station pump at high speed, causing an explosion and a raging fire.
The young man was a running back, one of a long line of Miami Dolphin draft choices trying to find a running back who could help Dan Marino, who faced a pass rush or a blitz on EVERY play.
A tragic death from every angle. The family lost a son, and they lost the financial wind fall that would have come with his contract.
My guess is they were racing.
I also would guess somewhat intoxicated.
The mainstream media and NFL are on “narrative watch” so unless it’s something blatant, they will not disclose details unless it becomes a court case or leaked.
Make that 8 p.m., and I’ll agree with you.

Yes.
Interesting update. The driver of the other car is a chick with a need for speed...

Back when the Eagles had Reggie White, the Eagles lost rookie Jerome Brown a first round 9th pick in a car accident. Sad this one was not the kids fault.
Per the above, the perp "is a long-time friend" of all three victims.
I read they all attended the same high school. All of the also got in very good college teams.
