You make good points. It could well be that the Democrats are willing to write off 2024 and just regroup for the midterms of 2026 and then 2028.
They may be thinking even if Trump wins , he will be a one-term president, because this would be his 2nd election.
I was talking to someone I know is more liberal but I don’t think she’s a deranged liberal. Anyway she was decrying RFK Jr being on the ballot in many states, and how awful that is that he’s allowed to be on the ballot .
My response was that if we believe in democracy, then we should have many choices of who to vote for, not just Republican or Democrat, but the Libertarian party the Green party , Peace and Freedom Party Etc.
Her response was that in a normal time she would agree with me but that this is not normal , and that Trump is the enemy that must be defeated to save democracy.
Maybe she is one of those deranged liberals; she never impressed me being that way before.
Trump isn’t old. When the man is on the campaign he’s all over the place doing appearances and rallies. Biden has Sundowners. he has to be in bed by 5pm.
