From last month:

A grizzly bear who attacked a Massachusetts hiker in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park ran away after reportedly biting into the man’s bear spray canister and fogging itself.

Grand Teton in WY is not in Yo-see-mite.
Editor? Anywhere?

Editor is in NYC.
There is nothing west of the Hudson River, until you get to California.

in Yosemite National Park

Grand Teton National Park

So the lesson to be learned is that veterans should go on honeymoons to National Parks, as there seems to be an epidemic of bear attacks from Wyoming to California. Or is the same guy getting attacked in multiple parks?

All of what you say is true.

However, I and my brother in law were once harassed by a black bear in Yosemite backwoods and he went 500lbs easy.

And he was actually brown in color. Except for the giant florescent orange “x” painted on his back.

We caught multiple 3-4 lb brown trout at the input to Hetch Hetchy lake, but lost the fish, all the groceries we brought in and our backpacks too. He destroyed the camp and we had to evac into the lake.

To this day we are happy he didn’t want to mess with the water.

I live in black bear country and I’ve seen black bears large and small. One walked around the back of my house not long ago, which I estimated (conservatively) to bee a 400-pounder. But you could never confuse a black bear for a Grizzly. I am, rarely, unarmed when I venture outside. They say the most dangerous critter in the forest is the two-legged kind and that’s true but I never underestimate the wildlife!

1st, there are no "Grizzlies" in Yosemite National Park!

Jeeze, its right in the headline. The Bear was visiting Yosemite on her honeymoon. Or maybe she's stalking this guy, since she attacked him in Grand Teton NP last month.

174 years ago there, probably, were Grizzlies in California. Why else would it be called the Bear Flag? But they likely got in the way of mining gold and were killed-off! I don’t know, just speculating.

Hetch Hetchy is a reservoir, not a true lake that is San Francisco’s water supply. The libs are happy to breach every dam in the USA except that one. (o’shaughnessy dam )

I wonder if the wife brought him to the area so she could collect the large life insurance policy on him?

“Honey can you go into the woods and look for wildlife for me?”
She earlier slipped some tasty treats in his pockets that bears are fond of.
Once he disappears she takes out her bear call....
