$112 for 16 pizzas?
If the company that owns the app is in the US, I’d think about suing them.
$112.00 maybe $30.00 actual cost? I don’t get it, what is the big deal?
Pretty cheap.
16 large pizzas for 112 buck. Something is not right with this story.
Caught my eye, too! That’s $7/pizza. That’s below the cost of ingredients.
$30 for 16 large? Guess you haven’t been shopping for flour, tomato sauce and pepperoni in a long time.
$112 seems like a lot of money. Usually, they make you pay first if you’re going to order that much.
For 16 pizzas?
112 bucks. That’s two visits to McDonald’s these days! lol jk.
Something is definitely smelly about this story.
The average for a pizza here is over $20.
Besides, who takes such a large order without running a card?
Only fools.
If the pizza place was placed In financial jeopardy by the loss of $112 it probably going to go out of business soon anyway.
I think if it’s more than $50, they ask you pay for the order with your card first.
It was the anchovies.
LOL
About right. Ingredients, more than two employees making product, plus electric and gas, taxes.....
Yeah something amiss with this story/”journalism”....their large cheese pizzas are $11.99 each and add pepperoni is $2.50 so $14.49/ea. Total should have been $327.76 + tax.

(Maybe the owner was talking “his out of pocket” cost”???)
I’m not sleeping with the enemy, but I thing the DOJ should investigate that app.
I was going by the bill, we used to figure about 25% of the pizza price was our food cost.
